People recovering from a severe acquired brain injury, such as those caused by a road traffic accident, a blow to the head or various illnesses, are likely to have a combination of problems including behavioural, social, emotional, physical and functional difficulties. The severity and complexity of these injuries will prevent people living safe fulfilling lives independently.

Christchurch Court provides for people aged 18 and over who require skilled care and support who accept guidance in developing or maintaining social and functional skills.

We provide safety, understanding and assistance to each resident to help them lead a fulfilling, enjoyable life. We encourage those who live here to develop to have the best possible life.

Balancing the desire for independence with the risk of vulnerability, Christchurch Court encourages individuals to live safely in the community supported by the supervision and care of a skilled experienced team.

Christchurch Court has recently opened a new facility in the heart of the Bedford community - Park House, 28 St Andrews Road, Bedford. This is a smaller scale service, similar to our existing services in Northampton, to facilitate repatriation. The service consists of eight single en-suite bedrooms, two transitional living bed-sits and one independent living flat.
