Specialised care and supported living

The Christchurch Court team is diverse in age, background, race, ethnicity, religion and is evenly split in terms of gender.

The Homes are owned by Marigold Contracts Ltd, a private provider, and trades as Christchurch Court . The Company's Registered Office is based at 2 Christchurch Road, Abington, Northampton NN1 5LL.

The owners are Jakki Livesey van Dorst and Ann Goodman-Smith. Ann and Jakki purchased the original Home at No. 2 Christchurch Road in May 2001, having been responsible for the management of the Home's programme since 1997. Jakki and Ann are supported in the running and development of the business by Sheena Kidd, Director/Responsible Individual, Sarah Clarkson, Finance Director and Helen Stokes, Registered Homes Manager for both homes.

Ann and Jakki have worked together in a variety of settings for over twenty years and are delighted to bring their respective experience and vision together at Christchurch Court.

Ann and Jakki often visit the Home and are involved in regular formal meetings with the management team. Ann and Jakki make a point of meeting residents informally, listening to their concerns and feeding them back to the management team for action.

Sheena Kidd, Director/Responsible Individual, is supported in her role by Guy Slack, Operations & Training Manager, Sarah Caswell, Office & HR Manager and Helen Stokes, Registered Homes Manager.

Helen Stokes has overall responsibility for the Homes and is supported by a Deputy Homes Manager within each home.

Deputy Homes Managers, Allan Fairwather and Sarah Wrighting, are responsible for the daily management in conjunction with the team coordinators.

Support Workers help the individuals who live here in all appropriate aspects of daily living. They help to ensure that each resident's planned programme is attained and contribute to the overall smooth running of the Homes.

Other team members include our Catering Department, Domestic Staff, Administration Department, Book Keeper and a visiting Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine.
